About Me
I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (License #MFC52604) with a private practice offering tele-therapy in San Diego, California.
Originally from Las Vegas, I received a Bachelor's degree from the University of Nevada-Reno in 2001 and a master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from Roosevelt University, Chicago in 2007.
Directly after graduating I worked in a variety of settings including a community mental health clinic and a hospital in-patient mental health unit. In 2008 I relocated from Chicago to San Diego and resumed my work in the mental health community as a psychiatric case manager for a non-profit organization. I took part in a large private practice in San Diego as a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist from 2013-2016. My clinical experience includes working with adult individuals, couples and families.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in providing a deep foundation of empathy and a safe environment for you to express yourself and achieve your goals.
In order to be fully engaged in the therapeutic process, I am devoted to practicing a well-balanced work-life relationship. In addition to my work, I enjoy traveling, the outdoors, reading, listening to podcasts, movies, trying new restaurants and spending time with my family and friends.
